Old school course, new school philosophy

At Hatherly Country Club you can play a course that's a reflection of what your ancestors played but with modern touches that enhance without being intrusive.

Subtle elevation changes from tee to green encourage a classic bump-and-run approach. And while this course is playable for all, the seaside location imparts enticing challenges. Experienced players will welcome the changing conditions that come with our coastal location; young golfers won’t feel intimidated playing into reachable greens.

With the addition of The Minot Lite Course we've embraced our role in growing interest in and excitement for the game. With PGA family tee markers set at realistic yardages for beginners and juniors we hope to encourage new players to participate in golf's challenges and rewards.

Junior Golf

Our desire to grow the game extends beyond PGA approved family tees. During the summer months, Junior Golf takes a front seat. Monday mornings at Hatherly are dedicated to educating junior golfers and encouraging them to head out on the course to learn, play, and enjoy. Our team of experienced golf professionals teach all aspects of the game of golf from swing fundamentals to etiquette to rules of the game.

The end of the golf season is capped off with the Junior Club Championship held on Labor Day Weekend. This 18-hole qualifier with a big finish on Monday makes Labor Day a very special holiday at Hatherly Country Club.
